I have a read a couple of Frank Peretti books and am looking for other Christian fiction authors.
No matter how many countless Comic Books are written, or how many movies are made, I realize that they are really pure Fiction. Why cannot the Christians also do this?
Some are opposed to this view using books such as harry potter as examples but others think books like the chronicles of narnia present magic in a good way. What do you think?
Anyone care to nominate the Best or Worst piece of Christian literature they’ve come across. I mean novels primarily so no gags about the Bible or Quran etc being fiction please! You can nominate poets and poetry too! For best writers I would like to nominate Bunyan for Pilgrim’s Progess and Donne’s Sonnets. For worst any of Tim La Hayes books which is so badly written they make Clive Cussler’s adventure thrillers look like Nobel Prize material. (much as I enjoy Clive Cussler’s works for LIGHT reading they are definitely not spiritual!)
I think this book was published in about 1993 or 1994 and was about a guardian angel who killed his charge. Who wrote it and what is the title?
I am writing a Christian fiction novel about a missionary who falls in love with a South American country. He leaves to go to the states and falls and the country goes to war. The story itself is his journey to save the ones he loves. The protagonist also has to do deal with killing a man (ok or not from a Christian standpoint) and other dilemmas such as that….any advice or comments?
I am about 2/3 of the way through it right now
I’ve finally finished writing my first book (yay!!) and I’m looking for a publishing company to submit to. Does anyone have any suggestions for maybe a smaller publishing company, maybe one that specializes in Christian fiction? Maybe even African-American Christian fiction? I figure I might have better luck the smaller, more specialized I get. Thanks!
