I’m a book worm and I need some good book ideas! Here are some books that I read and liked:

True Colors series-Melody Carlson Crimson Eve- Brandilyn Collins I’m a Christian, so books that are written by Christian authors/ have a Christian message would be best I LOVE suspense/mystery, spiritual warfare, books for teen girls… etc. Thanks!! (:

please no mean comments. i really don’t know what my style is and im not trying to fit in with anyone, i just want to know what best suits me, as in emo, punk, preppy, girly, ect. please no “just be yourself comments”. ps. im 15 and christian kayy so i mainly listen to rock music (alternative, screamo, indie, ect.). I’m into movies that are either, thrillers, suspense, action, and comedy/romantic comedy. I love love love to read. I enjoy playing the piano and the guitar, mainly the piano, and i lovee listening to my ipod almost all the time, especially when im in the car. I’ve been really emotional lately, as in crying or getting depressed for very stupid things like the oppisite sex or being yelled out. i don’t date either, never had a boyfriend don’t plan on having one any time soon. i don’t dress with brand names, i usually wear hand me downs, so i don’t really choose my style in clothing. i wear mainly jeans/ skinny jeans and shirts of all “styles” ( my closet doesnt necessarily have a specific style). I love all animals except cats, and i have a average amount of “friends” but none close enough that i can hang out with, so i don’t go out much. Some people say i have a very bubbly personality whenever they see me, and i am a nice person. I don’t like to make enemies and i like helping others and being as nice as i can. oh and i love babies and old people <3 xP so based on my “personality” what am i?
*yelled at. oh and i’m conservative, but not to the extreme where i wear skirts up to my ankles lol xPPP

I am looking for the most original and wierd of christian liturature, or literature with christian like ideas/ So far, I have The Great Divorce, Lilith, and Ted Dekker’s books, and I have heard Ray Bradbury is like that. Any other suggestions?

Christians: if no one will know the hour of doomsday, then what was the point of The Book of Revelation?

The underlying meaning in the Book of Revelation is that doomsday will come one day. But as you keep nattering to me, no one will know when it will happen; you claim only your god knows. So what was the point of the Book of Revelation; just to keep everyone in perpetual suspense? Sounds pretty stupid to me and I think a better explanation is the Book of Revelation was included in the bible to give Christian proselytizers another arrow in their quiver - another scare tactic to use. But I suppose you think I’m looking at your dogma too rationally, right?

I’m looking for the type of books that you can’t put down. The kind that you can’t wait to see what happens next and you end up reading the whole book in a day or two. I have read Stephanie Meyer (twilight series), and some books from Authors like John Saul, Dean Koontz, Michael Laimo, Tamara Thorne, Richard Laymon and V.C. Andrews. I have not read all their books. Perhaps there are some that are very good I have missed. I like horror, suspense, mystery, good love stories with a lot going on, Christian stories, action filled prairie day books (lol, not sure what the label would be), non fiction biography’s with suspense and so forth. I’m not much into sci fi books too much, but if it’s a page turner I’ll give it a shot. Which books do you recommend? Thanks.

They’re both about Anti-Christ. One is about a devout Christian woman who gives birth to the Anti-Christ in the form of triplets. The other is about Anti-Christ in the form of a worldwide corporation (run by a mysterious woman who never makes an appearance) that seems philanthropic and green, but really pollutes the world’s oceans and runs sweatshops and only makes charitable donations that result in name placement so the corporation can grow. Please only answer if you read Christian fiction.
